So how long have you been thinking about that vacation at the beach? Land at The Pelican's Elbow and settle in for rest, relaxation and fun in the Florida sun! It's a short stroll to enjoy the emerald waters and sugar-sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. For your convenience, the Pelican has beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels and your own electric golf cart with a spiffy roof rack to tote them all. And you have a spacious back yard with privacy fence, tropical landscaping and your own private swimming pool.
Why settle for a cramped condo? This beautiful new 2020 sq. ft. resort home with a nautical/beach decor features 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, large living and family rooms, ceiling fans in every room and a few pelicans here and there, just to remind you to kick back, relax and take life easy, at least for this week. If you need to connect with the outside world, we offer free high-speed wireless Internet.
After a fun-filled day at the beach, you may want to have a family BBQ on the gas grill or take an easy stroll to a seafood restaurant right on the gulf. Captain Dave's offers great seafood, with a dining room overlooking the ocean. Kenny D's, right across the street from Captain Dave's, has a Cajun menu. Two other good oceanfront seafood restaurants, The Crab Trap and Pompano Joe's, are a short drive down the beach to the west and east. And, of course, the Destin area offers loads of dining establishments, from fast food to fine dining. You'll find menus and directions to many of them at the Pelican.
The Pelican's Elbow is within minutes of all that Destin has to offer -- shopping at the largest designer outlet mall in the USA, world famous deep-sea fishing, dolphin watching cruises, romantic evening ocean cruises and other entertainment and amusements for the whole family, such as water parks, parasailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking and much more. And the Destin area is home to a dozen fine golf courses, a zoo, museums, and several state parks with walking and biking trails. Rental rates are for up to 8 people. The home sleeps up to 12, so add $100/week ($15/night) per additional person over age 2.
Snowbirds Note: The home is available for long-term rental during Nov-Feb at $1350/month plus utilities for 2 people for 2-3 months. Inquire for other arrangements.

Terms & Conditions
|
Half of rent is due upfront to secure reservation. The remainder of the rent, plus 11% FL tax, and a $500 security deposit (additional $250 if use of golf cart is desired) are due 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. Security deposits will be refunded 2-3 days after checkout if home is left in the condition it was found and all rental policies are followed.
We rent to responsible student groups with a $750 security deposit.
All reservations during peak season are from Saturday (4 pm check-in) to Saturday (10 am check-out).
A $65-$85 cleaning fee will be charged for rentals of less than a full week. |
